The Sosnowica company has extensive experience in the field of sandstone exploitation and processing. Our beginnings date back to 1996, when we launched the Sosnowica deposit. Since then, we have been gradually expanding our operations, opening new mines and delivering high-quality sandstone to the entire world. We encourage you to learn more about our sandstone mining plants. Each of them has its own unique history and specificity, which influence the extraordinary features of our sandstone.
Broniów Mine is a mine established at the turn of the 80s/90s. The name comes from the town in which it is located. The mine is classified as a part of the "Szydłowieckie Sandstones" group. We have owned the deposit since 2013 and we continuously exploit the excavation.
Długosz Mines
The Długosz mine was a small quarry of marginal importance for a long time. The period of its intensive development falls on the beginning of the 20th century, when our company became the owner of the deposit. In the years 2010-2012, this material became recognizable due to its large supply, rare cold color, and large blockiness. As a result, it became used in many investments. I invite you to read the article in Kurier Kamieniarski: Kamieniarski Courier – White sandstone Długosz
Kopulak Mine
The Kopulak mine is one of two red sandstone mines operating in the Kielce region and one of three in Poland. The first mentions date back to 1929. Well-documented extraction took place from the 1960s and lasted until 1999. The resumption of extraction began after the quarry was taken over by our company in 2014.
The Tumlin-Gród sandstone mine is one of the oldest quarries in the Kielce region. The first mentions of red stone extraction from Góra Grodowa date back to 1420. The current quarry has been in use since 1906. I invite you to read the article in Kurier Kamieniarski: Kurier Kamieniarski – Tumlin – shades of red
Parszów Mine
The Parszów mine is located near Suchedniów. It produces yellow sandstone, which was then classified as part of the general group of "Suchedniów sandstones".
Mine of Italy
The Włochy mine was opened at the end of the 19th century on Góra Baranowska in Suchedniów. Pink sandstone was extracted there, then classified as part of the general group of "Suchedniów sandstones". Since 1925, clay has been extracted here for the production of high-quality ceramic products. Sandstone extraction was and is carried out simultaneously.
Sosnowica has the best sandstone I've ever worked with. The color and texture were perfect for the project. I'll definitely order again.
